Jade Wedding Journal

To complete my BFA in Digital Media and Design with a concentration in Web and Interactive Media Design at the University of Connecticut, I designed a mobile app prototype, Jade Wedding Journal, advised by Ting Zhou. Jade Wedding Journal was designed to create an exciting new experience for guests and hosts of weddings. With features such as RSVP, table requests, vendor suggestions, a shared feed, and more this app is aimed at helping both the guests and hosts of weddings communicate in an efficient and easy way. Jade Wedding Journal is different from other wedding planning apps because it is not focused on one type of audience, and is inclusive of guests, giving them more opportunities to become a part of the wedding. I believe this app could positively impact how people plan their weddings and eliminate most of the stress of communication between guests and hosts.
